South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will Address the February 20, 2018 Aiken Republican Club Luncheon. Doors will open at 10:30 and the Luncheon will be called to order at 11:55. Wilson will cover the Opiod Crisis and Human Trafficking in South Carolina and Aiken County and will also provide an update on the Dominion Energy acquisition of SCE&G.
Wilson graduated from Francis Marion University with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1996. Following college, he joined the South Carolina National Guard and has received the Combat Action Badge for service in Iraq. He received a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002.
Wilson was elected the 51st Attorney General of South Carolina in the general election on November 2, 2010.
During his time as South Carolina Attorney General, Wilson has been active in numerous policies, including stopping the Opioid epidemic, combating human trafficking, and pushing back on federal overreach.
Wilson and his wife, Jennifer, have two children.
